Ajora is a twin waterfalls formed by two rivers - Soke and Ajecha. It is located some 16km (10mi) west of the main Addis-Arba Minch highway, Northwest of Sodo. The turn-off from the highway onto a dirt road leading to Ajora falls lie about 7km (4mi) North of the small town of Areka in Wolaita, Southern Ethiopia.
Downstream from the falls, the two tail rivers form a confluence and flow further west for about 10km (6mi) before feeding into one of Ethiopia's major rivers, the Omo. The waterfall is surrounded by a friendly traditional Wolayta village of beehive huts.
